How to play

How NBA Unbeaten works

Name a player from each real NBA game, one game at a time. 20+ points is a W and anyone who played is a D. A player who wasn't in the game, a skip, or the 20-second shot clock running out is an L, and the first L ends the run.

Your record is the number of games before that loss, wins and draws together: "Unbeaten in 23 (17W 6D)". 82 unbeaten is 82-0, and the run carries on past it until you lose.

FAQ

Is it the same for everyone?

Today's run is: everyone gets the same games in the same order, with a new run at midnight UK time. None of today's daily games are in it, so the two don't give each other away. Can you go 82-0? Get to 82 unbeaten and full time reads 82-0.

Can I play it again?

Today's run is one go. Once you start, it counts, and leaving the page doesn't stop the clock. When it ends, Play again starts a practice run in a random order. Practice runs don't go on the leaderboards.

Are there hints?

No. Every game has a 20-second shot clock and no hints. The daily keeps its hints.

Does it go on the leaderboards?

Signed in, today's run does: the longest run first, then the one with more wins, then whoever finished first. Sign in the same day and a run you played signed out moves to your account.
