How the NBA quiz works

Every day you get 10 real NBA results from 1996/97 to now. For each one, name a player from either team. If they dropped 20 or more points, you win 3. If they got on the floor at all, you get 1. If they didn't play, you get 0.

One guess per game, and the search never shows a player's team. The free hint tells you how many players hit 20+ for each team. The paid hint gives you a 20+ scorer's initials, which makes a win worth 2.

A perfect 30 makes you a Certified ball knower. 20 or more is Proper ball knowledge, 10 or more is Ballsy guesses, and anything under 10 sends you Back to the sofa.

FAQ

How does scoring work?

20 or more points in that game wins 3. Played but scored under 20 gets 1. Didn't play gets 0. Ten games, so 30 is perfect. A win with the paid hint is worth 2.

Where do the games come from?

Real NBA box scores from 1996/97 to now, with every player who got minutes. Regular season, playoffs and the Finals can all turn up.

When do new games come out?

Every day at midnight UK time. Everyone gets the same 10 NBA games that day, so you can compare scores with your mates. Play every day to keep your streak going.
