How to play

How NBA Big Games works

Every day you get 10 real NBA playoff games from 1997 to now: six from the Conference Finals, then four from the NBA Finals. For each one, name a player from either team. 20 or more points wins you 3, anyone who got on the floor gets 1, and a player who didn't play gets 0.

One guess per game, and the search never shows a player's team. The free hint tells you how many players hit 20+ for each team. The paid hint gives you a 20+ scorer's initials, which makes a win worth 2.

Done today's 10? Play another deals a random set from the same two rounds.

FAQ

How does scoring work?

20 or more points in that game wins 3. Played but scored under 20 gets 1. Didn't play gets 0. Ten games, so 30 is perfect. A win with the paid hint is worth 2.

How is this different from the NBA quiz?

The daily NBA quiz can be any game, a wet Tuesday in January included. Big Games is only the last two rounds of the playoffs, when the stars play big minutes. Each card says which series and which game it is.

Is it the same for everyone?

Today's round is: the same 10 games for everyone, with a new set at midnight UK time. Finished it? Play another deals you a random 10 whenever you like.
