The same draft for everyone today.
How it works
- 5 slots, each a real team-season and position. Name a player who played there.
- Best in the pool = 10 · Others = 1 to 9 · Wrong position or pass = 0.
- Every position: total regular-season points.
How to play
How Perfect Five works
Build an NBA starting five: two guards, two forwards and a center. Each slot deals a real team, a season and a position: the 2000/01 Raptors, guard, say. Name a player who played there that season. No list and no clues about who played where. It's all memory.
The pool's top scorer, on total regular-season points, scores 10. Everyone else scores by how close they came, from 1 to 9. Someone who played for the team that season in another position scores 0, and so does someone who never played for them. Five 10s is 50/50: a Perfect Five.
Every slot tells you how big its pool is. You get one re-deal per team for the deal you don't fancy. The paid hint shows a player worth 7 or more, and that slot then scores 7 at most.
FAQ
What's the difference between Daily and Unlimited?
The daily draft is the same for everyone, dealt at Medium, and you get one go. Signed in, it goes on the leaderboards. Unlimited deals a fresh draft every time you go again: Easy is the last 8 seasons and the top 8 teams, Medium is 2010/11 on, and Hard is every season from 1996/97.
How are positions grouped?
Point and shooting guards are guards, small and power forwards are forwards, and centers are centers. A player counts at the position he mostly played that season.
Do playoff points count?
No. It's regular-season points only, so a big playoff run won't lift anyone up the pool.
Can I name the same player twice?
Yes. If he was the best at two of your deals, he can fill both slots.
