How to play
How the NBA season game works
Play an NBA season one real result at a time: up to 20 regular-season games from 1996/97 onwards. Name a player from either team. 20 or more points is a win (3), played is a draw (1), and didn't play is a loss (0).
You're in a 15-team table against 14 simulated rivals. Finish first and you're conference champions, the top six make the playoffs, seventh to tenth is the play-in, and the rest are in the lottery.
Pick a level. Hard is every team and every season, Medium is one season, Easy is one team, and Very easy is one team over two seasons. On Easy and Very easy you get a second chance when your guess didn't play, worth a draw at most.
FAQ
What's the difference between a daily season and free play?
The daily season is the same for everyone, you get one go at it, and it changes at midnight UK time. Free play lets you choose your own season or club and play as many as you like.
Are playoff games included?
No. Seasons use regular-season games only. Playoff and Finals games turn up in the daily NBA quiz and on Finals night.
Do I have to finish in one go?
No. Your season saves after every game, so you can leave it and pick it up later where you left off.
