How to play
How the Premier League season game works
Play a whole Premier League season, one real result at a time: up to 38 matches from 2002/03 onwards. Name a player from either side. A scorer is a win (3 points), a player who featured, subs included, is a draw (1), and someone who wasn't in the game is a defeat (0).
Your points go into a 20-club table against 19 simulated rivals. Finish top and you're champions. Top four is Champions League, fifth and sixth is Europe, and the bottom three go down.
Pick a level. Hard is every club and every season, Medium is one season, Easy is one club, and Very easy is one club over two seasons. On Easy and Very easy you get a second chance when your guess wasn't in the game, worth a draw at most.
FAQ
What's the difference between a daily season and free play?
The daily season is the same for everyone, you get one go at it, and it changes at midnight UK time. Free play lets you choose your own season or club and play as many as you like.
How do hints work?
The free hint shows how many scorers each team had. The paid hint gives you a scorer's initials, and a win with it is worth 2 points instead of 3.
Do I have to finish in one go?
No. Your season saves after every game, so you can leave it and pick it up later where you left off.
