HOW TO PLAY

  • Passing touchdowns don't count. A quarterback wins only by running one in.
  • Hints (free and paid) work as in the dailies.
  • One guess per game. Skip scores 0.
  • Today's Big Games are the same 10 for everyone, new at midnight UK time. Play another for a random 10.

How to play

How NFL Big Games works

Every day you get 10 real NFL playoff games from the 2013 season on, in order: three Wild Card games, three from the Divisional round, three Conference championships and a Super Bowl. For each one, name a player from either team. A touchdown wins you 3 points, at least one snap gets 1, and not playing gets 0.

Throwing a touchdown isn't scoring one, so passing touchdowns don't count: a quarterback only wins you 3 if he ran it in. Rushing, receiving, return and defensive touchdowns all do. The free hint counts each team's touchdown scorers; the paid hint gives you a scorer's initials and makes a win worth 2.

Done today's 10? Play another deals a random set, with two Super Bowls in it.

FAQ

How does scoring work?

A touchdown is 3 points, at least one snap is 1, and not playing is 0. Ten games, so 30 is perfect. A win with the paid hint is worth 2.

Why only one Super Bowl a day?

There have only been so many since 2013. Two a day and you'd see the same ones again inside a fortnight. Play another has two, if you can't wait.

Where do the games come from?

Is it the same for everyone?

Today's round is: the same 10 games for everyone, with a new set at midnight UK time. Finished it? Play another deals you a random 10 whenever you like.
